Turner's Gardenland

I have always enjoyed going to Turner's to get my plants, but I went a couple of days ago specifically to look at their desert roses. I love these plants and I already have 13 of them. I was hoping to find some colors I didn't already have. I was very disappointed because a lot of them weren't labeled as to the color of them and the plants themselves looked like they hadn't been watered or taken care of in months. I'm sure I will try one more time to see if their desert roses are labeled and look better. I am a member of a desert rose Facebook page and enjoy spreading the word as to were people can find these beautiful flowers. I hope Turner's can change things around.

Great selection. Extremely knowledgeable and great service. Chris spend time explaining each selection giving details to ensure the plants would fit our garden and the Corpus Christi climate. He is highly recommended if you want exceptional service. Also want to thank the owner who resolved a pricing issue with grace and customer satisfaction at the top of her priorities. Always enjoy shopping at Turners.

Very kind and friendly staff and a variety of beautiful plants to choose from. Everything looked healthy and happy. I purchased the largest plumeria I've seen at a nursery! They had several to choose from, all very healthy. I was well behaved and didn't buy too much but it was very tempting! I'll definitely be back to test my willpower again.

The only reason I’m giving four stars is not because they don’t have good flowers. Let me get that straight their flowers, plant shrubs, trees, perennials, annuals they have it all… BUT…… I don’t know if they just don’t have enough workers or workers that know what they’re doing that have any kind of knowledge and horticulture. I’m not sure I’m not accusing, but there were so many plants that needed watering. I’ve worked in nurseries for the last 20 years and there were so many dead plants for sale at full price now they had enough people watering the plants. I think that would be one of the most beautiful nurseries in Corpus Christi, but I saw one young kid with a sprayer out there and he was just watering the leaves. He didn’t even water the soil the young lady at the cash register she is sweet as can be. She had very good customer service and the older gentleman with the beard was very knowledgeable. Helped me find several things that I needed and went above and beyond to help me and I appreciate that but please give those plants a drink of water.

I visited Turner's and had a great experience since we can't water Our grass and my carpet grass died in the front yard, I was trying to find something I could plant that would take little to no water, since I'm going to have to bring in water for my plants. a young lady by the name of Abby went out of her way to help me. She is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable, I really did appreciate the time and effort she spent with me. Everybody there seems to be knowledgeable and I enjoy the nursery set up. It was worth spending a little more for good products with excellent information on how to plant and care for the plants. Thank you Turner's Nursery! Thank you Abby!
